CASCO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Songo Lock State Historic Site is back open to boat traffic. The site, a part of Sebago Lake State Park, reopened Saturday morning at 9 a.m.

The lock had been closed to boat traffic for more than two weeks due to heavy rains earlier this month and increased water levels in lakes and ponds in nearby areas.

Park officials say boaters still need to use caution because some flood control measures will remain open at the lock, and water levels remain high.
