Matt Beach shared a fun recipe to share with the kids to finish up our Summer Recipes week!

Ingredients

Hot dogs

Hot dog buns

Pepperoni

Twisty pretzels

Stick pretzels

Black olives

Toothpicks

Directions

Start by cooking your hot dogs. Once cooked, you will need 1 1/2 hot dogs per racer. Cut hot dog on half and place in bun leaving half inch gap between the two pieces. Cut second hot dog and place one half in the gap so it is sticking straight up.

Cut a small slit for the twisty pretzel to sit in as the steering wheel and place two stick pretzels on each side of the hot dogs for arms.

Put a toothpick through the bun on each end and place a pepperoni on all four points of the toothpicks.

Cut a large black olive in half and place on top as the helmet.

Lastly use ketchup and mustard to decorate your hot dog racer anyway you would like.
