From homelessness and hunger, children and families issues, education and mentoring, the arts and culture, the public decides where Bangor Savings Bank invests a generous amount of their charitable giving.
How Does The Selection Process Work?
Bangor Saving Bank will accept your online vote for the non-profit organizations you think are the most deserving.
Nominations may also be made at any branch of Bangor Savings Bank.
Voting ends March 11.
Note: Nominated organizations must be tax-exempt (Section 501 (c)(3)) and have a proven record of service to the community. After the voting deadline, a number of non-profits receiving the largest number of votes, will be awarded financial support from Community Matters More, a program of Bangor Savings Bank; a select number will be profiled on WCSH 6 and WLBZ 2.
Making a real contribution takes innovation and action. It takes giving in ways that go beyond writing checks to non-profit organizations. It's why our employees collectively donate thousands of service-hours a year to their communities. It's why we support hundreds of causes throughout the state and continue to help local organizations energize and enhance the quality of life for Maine citizens.
