PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER)--The Red Sox' top three prospects are all in Portland this spring and their play is a big part of the reason that the Sea Dogs lead the Eastern League. Henry Owens, Mookie Betts and Blake Swihart are continuing their march to the show.

Owens threw a six inning no-hitter in the season opener. Despite issuing too many walks, he's been demonstrating that his mix of pitches is Big League stuff.

A natural progression would seem to take Swihart to Pawtucket later this summer and up to the Red Sox in late 2015.

Betts has been simply sensational, reaching base in 71 consecutive games if you include five playoff games. His average was over .400 in Mid-May. Betts has been starting in center field for the Dogs as the Sox try to find a position for him with Dustin Pedroia locked in at second base until 2021.
