Colson Whitehead gave his first reading in Maine at the end of March at Bates College. The author is known for books like The Intuitionist and John Henry Days. He will also soon be releasing a book chronicling his experiences at the 2011 World Series of Poker called The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky, and Death.
