BOSTON (AP) -- The Bruins open their pre-season schedule Monday night against Montreal in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a slightly trimmer roster.
The team Monday cut ten players from training camp. Scott Fletcher, Kevin Nastiuk, Levi Nelson and Wacey Rabbit were reassigned to the team's AHL affiliate in Providence. Jamie Arniel, Michael Hutchinson and Denis Reul were sent back to their junior clubs. Yuri Cheremetiev, Arthur Fritch and Doug Krantz were released.
The Bruins now have 45 players on the training camp roster.
