Mainer wins silver medal at Rio Paralympics with U.S. Sailing team

(NEWS CENTER) -- A Mainer competing in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio will not be coming home empty-handed. 
South Freeport's Hugh Freund and the U.S. three-man sailing team took second place on the 6th and final day of racing.
Freund and his American teammates Rick Doerr and Brad Kendell took first place in Saturday's race to lock up that silver medal finishing with 44 total points.
That was 18 points behind Australia which took home the gold.
Canada was third with 51 points.
