DOVER, Delaware (NEWS CENTER) - Frank Gaines has taken over the burden of scoring for the short-handed Red Claws, but even his career-high 47 points wasn't enough in a 147-142 loss to Delaware.

Gaines was limited to just 10 points in the second half after puttting 37 in the first two quarters.  He finished 16-of-27 from the field, including 8-of-13 on three-point attempts.

Five other Red Claws finished in double figures:  Tyshawn Taylor (22 points, 14 assists), Damien Bell-Holter (22, 16 rebounds), Sherwood Brown (21), Zeke Marshall (18), and Tyler Brown (10).

Maine shot 52 percent from the floor (51-98).  The 87ers were even more efficient at 60.8 percent (59-97).

Maine (18-25) is all but eliminated from the NBA Developmental League playoffs.
