NEWS CENTER - Red Claws forward Chris Wright's perseverence has through a losing campaign with Maine has paid off as he's headed to the NBA.
The third-year player signed a 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks after averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 rebounds in 35 games.
This is the second time he's jumped to the NBA from Maine. Back in 2011-12, he played in 24 games as a rookie for Golden State.
Wright is only player in the Red Claws five-year history to spend at least three seasons with the team.
He's the second Maine player to be called up by an NBA team this season. Guard Chris Babb was the signed by the Celtics to a 10-day contract on March 1st. Babb was signed to another 10-day deal on March 11th.
