Columbia, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Tiffany Mitchell had 20 points and nine rebounds to help No. 8 South Carolina to a 78-62 win over Missouri on Sunday.

Khadijah Sessions and Alaina Coates each posted 13 points, with Aleighsa Welch and Asia Dozier giving 11 apiece for the Gamecocks (20-2, 8-1 SEC), who have won four straight since an overtime loss to Texas A&M on Jan. 16.

Bri Kulas scored 21 points with 10 rebounds, and Morgan Eye donated 14 points for the Tigers (14-8, 3-6), who have dropped five of their past six games.

It was a 13-5 game five minutes on a Welch layup and Coates' jumper with nine minutes to play in the first half made it a 23-12 game.

South Carolina scored 14 unanswered points later in the first half and took a 48-25 lead into the break.

A Kulas three-point play seven minutes into the second half got Missouri within 13, 53-40, but South Carolina answered with an 8-0 run to quell the rally.

The Gamecocks' lead never fell below 13 the rest of the way.
