PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The disappointment of losing the Stanley Cup Finals can haunt any hockey player, especially during the weeks of downtime after the season. Fortunately for the Boston Bruins, they won't have to dwell upon it much further.
Two months after losing their best-of-seven game series with against the Chicago Blackhawks, Daniel Paille made a promotional appearance at Hadlock Field on Saturday to talk hockey with the fans and local media.
As for the letdown after making it so far in the postseason, Paille quickly alluded to the complacency that can occur when teams win hockey's most hallowed prize.
"We've been on both sides and we know how both feels like, so you know, we'd obviously like to get the feeling of winning back and bringing that to the season will be really important," Paille said.
Bruins training camp begins September 11th with their season opener in Boston on October 3rd against Tampa Bay.
