UMaine soccer stays unbeaten after win at Bryant

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (NEWS CENTER) - The Maine women's soccer team scored early and they made their lone goal stand as they won their second straight game to open the season with 1-0 win at Bryant. 

Junior midfielder Camile Varin-Tremblay scored off a Joanie L'Abbe cross 10:07 into the match. 

Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Swant stopped all three shots she faced for her second shutout of the season.  

The Black Bears (2-0-0) host Central Connecticut State Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
