PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Portland Sea Dogs bounced back from a Friday night loss to the Binghamton Mets on a picture perfect Saturday at Hadlock Field. Portland won, 10-7.
The Mets got on the board first, scoring a run in each of the first 2 innings, but after that, the Sea Dogs took over on offense. Matt Spring crushed a walk-off grand slam above the Maine Monster in the bottom of the 9th inning. He finished with 2 home runs and 6 RBI's. Tony Thomas went 4-for-5 and hit a home run as well.
The two teams will play in the series finale on Sunday at 1pm.
