Blue Jays power past Red Sox

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Jose Bautista hit two of Toronto's five home runs and had three RBI as the Blue Jays powered past the Boston Red Sox, 12-4, in the rubber match of a three-game series at Fenway Park.

Emilio Bonifacio went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer while Edwin Encarnacion and Brett Lawrie each added solo shots for Toronto, which won just its second series of the season and completed a winning road trip with a 4-3 record.

Chad Jenkins (1-0), making his first start of the year in place of the injured Brandon Morrow, earned his second career victory after allowing two runs on seven hits in five-plus innings of work.

Mike Napoli and Pedro Ciriaco each hit solo homers for a Boston club that has lost eight of 10 and went 3-of-36 with runners in scoring position in the series, including 0-for-8 on Sunday.

Ryan Dempster (2-4) was rocked for six runs on seven hits in his five-inning start to take the loss.
