Miami, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Heat announced Friday that the team has
signed forward Juwan Howard for the remainder of the season.
Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Heat signed Howard to a 10-day contract on March 2 and then inked the
veteran big man to another 10-day deal on March 12.
The 40-year-old former first-round pick hasn't appeared in a game for Miami
this season, but did play in 11 postseason games during the Heat's run to the
NBA title last season, totaling 17 points with 10 rebounds.
