Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia 76ers forward Thaddeus Young
is expected to miss approximately three weeks after being diagnosed with a
Grade I strain of his left hamstring on Tuesday.
Young suffered the injury during the second quarter of Philadelphia's 78-61
win over Orlando on Monday.
The 2007 first-round pick has been putting together one the best seasons of
his six-year tenure with the Sixers, having averaged 14.9 points and a career-
high 7.4 rebounds while shooting 52.2 percent from the field over 47 games.
Young's injury is a further blow to an already depleted Philadelphia
frontcourt that has been without projected starting center Andrew Bynum all
season due to knee problems. The team has been targeting Bynum to return
shortly after the All-Star break.
