Stanford, CA (Sports Network) - Stanford cornerback Terrence Brown has decided
to forego his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2013 NFL Draft.
On Tuesday, the school released a statement from Brown, thanking his coaches
for the opportunity to play for the Cardinal.
"My admission to Stanford University in 2009 was a life-changing event for me,
and all of the faculty, students and staff I have met since have truly blessed
and enriched me. I will forever and always be a Cardinal," said Brown.
He continued by saying, "The past four years have been a great experience for
me at Stanford, and I feel well prepared to move on to the next level."
Brown recorded 65 tackles and an interception while starting all 14 games for
the Cardinal this past season.
