ORONO, Maine (AP) - Five University of Maine football players have been named to the Preseason All-CAA Team.

The Colonial Athletic Association coaches and sports information personnel selected the team announced at CAA Media Day in Baltimore, where the Black Bears were also picked sixth in the preseason poll.

Maine tied for the league high with five players overall on the Preseason Team.

They include senior right guard Chris Howley, senior offensive lineman Josh Spearin, senior wide Maurice McDonald, junior tight end Justin Perillo and junior defensive end Michael Cole.
