(NEWS CENTER)-- Mike MacDonald from Camden made the most of his first start at Hadlock field as a member of the Sea Dogs. MacDonald threw 7 shutout innings against Reading on Tuesday night. The righty only gave up 5 hits and struck out 2 batters in leading Portland to victory.
MacDonald, the first Mainer to ever play for the Sea Dogs, only managed to pitch 2/3rds of an inning in his Sea Dogs debut which came on the road a few weeks ago. He went on the disabled list with a hamstring injury.
