NEWS CENTER- Former Falmouth High star Roger Lavesque has competed and won on all levels. He won two state titles for the Yachtsmen, led Stanford to an NCAA final in college, and won three titles with his pro team the Seattle Sounders. Apparently, that's enough for Levasque.
The Major League Soccer forwrd will retire after an exhibition match this Wednesday. He's spent his entire professional career with that franchise, scoring 33 goals in 183 matches.
Lavesque remains 2nd all-time in Maine high school soccer with 106 career goals.
