VIGO COUNTY, Indiana (WTWO) -- On Saturday a Wabash Valley woman had a life-changing experience on the side of the road, after a stranger did something almost unimaginable.
For Virginia Bradley, Saturday was just supposed to be about shopping - but it turned in to something she'll now remember for the rest of her life.
They say you don't really know someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes... but for Virginia Bradley that doesn't even begin to cover it.
On Saturday, Bradley, a photographer, pulled over on State Road 246 to snap a picture, when her shoes sank in the mud. As she walked barefoot back to her car, she noticed a woman had pulled over to see what was going on.
"I was just amazed. I was really just amazed. I mean, I thought it was wonderful that she actually stopped to help me. I thought that that was a wonderful thing," she said.
