We always like to start with what Mainers are watching on YouTube, and this week we're all watching a very touching video coming out of the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock in New Hampshire. Shot only in six hours and posted Monday night, this video is set to Katy Perry's Roar and has hit over 1 million views on YouTube and features some of the patients and staff of the hospital. The hospital says it's helped show the world how strong their kids are...

Another video making the rounds is one focused on The World Series. The Boston Symphony Orchestra is having some fun with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Set to the idea of anything you can do we can do better.... The two groups have a face off after a debate over who's team would win the world series. It started making the rounds yesterday before game 1.
Here's the how-to:
Speaking of advertisements, ads are coming to Instagram, and today the folks at Instagram showed us what those ads will look like.
It's pretty low key, but they are asking for feedback. The idea being that if we're going to be having the ads they want to make them as desirable as they can be to you. So when you start to see them next week, you can choose to hide them, but they will show you something so they will ask you what kinds of ads you would like to see.
And where would my What's Trending segment be without a little trip into the geek universe... Doctor Who is making some news. This is the year of their 50th anniversary of the shows debut back in 1963. This November 23rd, the show is having a fixed point in time with their 50th ann. Special. Over the weekend they release a long awaited trailer. The show will air at the same exact time worldwide and today they announced that there will be a U.S. theatrical release of the show at the same time. Sadly for those of us in Maine to see the theaterical version we have to wait until the following Monday when it will be in theaters again...
Finally, we're heading back to Massachusettes via Norway. If you're familiar with the viral video, What Does the Fox Say,then you know the group Ylvis. They're a Norwegian comedy group from Norway... They made a name for themselves here a few weeks ago with their song, What Does The Fox Say, now they're turing their comedy eye onto Massachusetts with their latest video called simply Massachusetts. It's slightly more adult in theme compared to the fox video. It's left many in Mass left scratching their head and not totally getting the joke, but like Weird Al or Lonely Island, the joke is usually on us...
