CARTERVILLE, Illinois (WPSD) -- An Illinois father took his anti-bullying message to Facebook hours after his son's suicide.
Jordan Lewis, 15, shot himself to death on Thursday morning. Lewis was a sophomore at Carterville High School in Carterville, Illinois.
His dad said he left a suicide note saying he couldn't take the bullying anymore.
Hours after the death,Brad Lewis posted a video on Facebook. In it, he said we all need to stand up against bullying, and parents need to talk about it with their kids.
"Today my son is dead because he took his life," said Lewis in the video.
The words pierce the heart. In the nearly seven minute video, Lewis remembers his 15-year-old son Jordan.
Lewis said his son brought up bullying before, the most recent time was about a month ago. He told his dad kids were picking on him at Carterville High School, but he didn't say much else.
