HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (WFMJ) -- Donations are pouring in to help track down whoever is responsible for spray-painting a cat in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
"It's just awful that someone could even think about doing that to a poor cat," said Mara Redmond who reported the incident to humane investigators.
The cat was taken to a veterinarians office, but died shortly afterwards. Humane officers believe fumes from the spray paint caused the animals death.
A reward is being offered for information. Initially, the Humane Society was offering $100 but, thanks to private donations the reward has risen to about $800.
