BLOOMINGDALE, Georgia (WSAV) -- Its been the talk of the town. The area. And the Nation.
One family's tongue in cheek tribute to their father - in an unusual place - his obituary.
From Bloomingdale to Savannah, all the way to California and even England.
William Freddie McCullough, the man, the myth, the legend.
That is how the Obituary starts, and how his family remembers their dad.
But their simple tribute has turned into much more, not only for the folks who knew him but for his new "fans" around the world.
"He was unlike anyone else in the whole world," explained Mark McCullough, William's son.
When McCullough passed away last week, his six sons and daughters decided everyone needed to know how special their dad really was.
"I sat down with my brothers and sisters after the funeral and we just started sharing these great stories about dad," said Mark. "We were sad but we were also laughing. We were having just a great time and we thought why not share this with the world."
Shared in an unusual, and special obituary.
"This right here tells how he lived and I think that's what makes it different," said Shain McCullough, William's son.
