DOVER, NH (NEWS CENTER) -- Letters from prison are now evidence in the case of a man accused of killing a University of New Hampshire student.
Seth Mazzaglia is charged with killing Elizabeth Marriott in October of last year. Prosecutors say they have handwritten letters from Mazzaglia to his former girlfriend- Kathryn McDonough, asking her to kill two witnesses.
McDonough has pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution, conspiracy, and tampering with a witness.
The state is seeking handwriting samples from Mazzaglia; his attorney said he will provide them.
Marriott's body has not been found. Mazzaglia's trial is scheduled to begin in May.
