RISE OF THE GUARDIANS

"Rise of The Guardians" was a 2013 Golden Globe Nominee for BEST ANIMATED FILM.

Growing up in South Los Angeles Director Peter Ramsey dreamed of working in the movies, but didn't know anyone in the film business. He began his career as a storyboard artist, working on films such as A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Child and Predator 2, eventually developing storyboards on critically-acclaimed films including Cast Away, A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Minority Report.

Ramsey's first work for DreamWorks Animation was as a storyboard artist on the 2004 film Shark Tale. From there he became a story artist on Shrek the Third, then Head of Story on Monsters vs Aliens and a creative consultant on Puss In Boots. As director of Rise of the Guardians, Ramsey became the first African American to direct a big-budget animated film.

"Rise of The Guardians" has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray.
