PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Around 7:45 PM Monday, a man walked into the 7/11 on Portland's Washington Avenue and demanded cash from the clerk.

He took off again moments later with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police say there were several customers in the store at the time. No one was hurt and no weapon was displayed.

Witnesses told police that the suspect was a thin white man.

He was wearing a mask and a black hooded sweat shirt with the hood up at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to get in touch with the Portland Police Department.
