BROADWAY STAR FLORENCE LACEY KICKS OFF THE GOOD THEATER SEASON

Good Theater kicks off its 11th season with a special two performance event, An Evening With Broadway Star Florence Lacey on October 6 at 7:30 and October 7 at 2:00. All tickets are $30 for these shows.
Florence Lacey holds the world's record for the most performances of Eva Peron in EVITA having played the show on Broadway, the national tour and several international tours. When asked how many performances she has done of this show, Ms. Lacey responded, "I stopped counting at 3,000 and it is way more than that!"

Ms. Lacey made her Broadway debut in Jerry Herman's THE GRAND TOUR opposite Joel Grey. She won a Theater World Award for her performance in that show. Other Broadway credits include a stint as Fantine in the original production of LES MISERABLES, two runs as Irene Malloy in HELLO DOLLY opposite Carol Channing as well as the recent Tony nominated revival of FOLLIES.

Good Theater Artistic Director, Brian P. Allen, will join Ms. Lacey for the event. He will act as host and moderator for the evening. Allen will interview Lacey about her career, and get her to share stories of life on Broadway and a career in theater. In between questions, she will sing songs from many of the roles she has performed including "Send in the Clowns," "With One Look," "I Dreamed a Dream," "Ribbons Down My Back," "If He Walked Into My Life," "I Belong Here" and of course her signature, "Don't Cry For Me Argentina." Victoria Stubbs serves as music director and pianist for the event.

Other shows in the Good Theater season include: Good People 10/10-11/4, Striking 12 11/14-12/9, Death by Design 1/30-2/24, 4000 Miles 3/6-30 and Ancestral Voices 4/3-4/14. Subscriptions begin as low as $55 for four productions.
