BAR HARBOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)--In May, a retired FBI agent geared up and hit the pavement to raise money for the families of fallen police officers. He pedaled his bicycle across country from the Pacific Ocean and now he's finally reached the Atlantic.
Jim Caverly began bicycling in Florence, Oregon. 4500 miles later he reached Bar Harbor.
Caverly ended his journey with a dip of his tire in the Atlantic ocean but the work he started on the trip is far from over. The trip raised close to six thousand dollars for the families of fallen police officers.
