BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- Robert Lucy, the assistant superintendent for the Bangor school systems has been placed on administrative leave.
Superintendent Betsy Webb said Lucy is on leave while the school department investigates allegations that he told teachers to allow students to change their answers on a standardized test in 2011. This happened while he was the principal at Orono Middle School.
Doctor Webb said administrative leave is the usual procedure for the school department when handling these types of situations. She also said this does not reflect any decision that School Department is currently making.
