BREWER, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- Voters in Brewer went to the polls Tuesday to vote on whether or not to get a $5.4 million bond.
Around 90 percent of those who voted approved the bond. The money will go towards making improvements to Brewer High School. The bond will allow the school to modify the building to create one main entrance, move administrative offices, improving the cafeteria and adding a 100 seat lecture hall.
Work is scheduled to begin in June of 2013 and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2014.
