MATT ASHFORD AT OGUNQUIT PLAYHOUSE
Soap Opera favorite Matt Ashford stars in the latest production at Ogunquit Playhouse, "9 to 5." Ashford is best known for his role as Jack Devereaux on NBC's "Days of Our Lives." He was just nominated for a Daytime Emmy for the role.
Ashford stars as Franklin Hart. Jr., a domineering and lecherous boss. "9 to 5" will run at Ogunquit Playhouse through September 15th.

COOKING FOR A CURE
The annual Cooking For A Cure will take place on September 6th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland. More than 20 local chefs will be making signature dishes for the event, which raises money for The Noyes Brain Tumor Foundation. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide funding to the brain tumor program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

NUALA KENNEDY BAND
Nuala Kennedy is an Irish singer and flute player. Kennedy grew up in Dundalk, Co. Louth, on the East coast of Ireland; a musical area which is steeped in mythology and has long historical links with Scotland. She started to play traditional music at the age of seven.
Nuala Kennedy Band is holding CD release concerts for their album "Noble Stranger" at Skye Theatre in South Carthage on September 5th, at Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts on September 6th and at Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield on September 7th.
