PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - If it's Friday night, then it's football night in Maine. That means only one thing -- the often imitated, never duplicated, highly anticipated 5th Quarter kicks off its 20th year tonight with Lee Goldberg and Csaba Sukosd. With it, we're kicking off a new feature of our sports website.

At the top (and a little to the right) of THIS page, click on "USAToday High School Sports."

Once you're on the site there are tons of features you can take advantage of. You can get score updates from high school sports in Maine. For the purposes of 5th Quarter night, we're going to look at the football section. Once you choose your sport, you can scroll through the games listed under today's date. You can also look at past dates and jump ahead to other dates or conferences. Also it will say right here which school the game will be played at too.

As the scores are updated you will see them scroll across the top of the screen. On the date/event page you can get into a specific game. From here you can get score updates for that game, check into the game, get directions, gets stats and even upload your own photos or a video of the game. You can even interact with over fans through Facebook too. If you upload a photo or video you can share that too on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or even Google +.
We should mention that all final scores will be updated once the game is over.

To find your school, locate the drop down menu on the right hand side of the screen or you can enter your zip code in the search at the top of the page. Once you do that, you can sign up and follow your favorite team. We even have an option where you can get text alerts when the score is updated.
