THE JON HERINGTON BAND

The Jon Herington Band will be in concert at One Longfellow Square on Friday, August 31st.

Jon Herington is a guitar master - that's why he is Steely Dan's go-to guitar guy now. Alternating between his favored Gibson hollow-bodies and the twang of his Telecaster, he wields a versatility we haven't seen since Johnny A. as he cruises through deep blues cuts like "Hurts Me Too," jazz standards like "Funny Valentine," rockers and twang drenched country tunes, as well as his own originals. And yes, he'll peform a few Steely Dan hits too.
