COLUMBUS, Ohio (NBC) - A train hauling ethanol derailed near the Ohio State Fairgrounds early Wednesday morning and caught fire, triggering an evacuation of nearby homes and businesses.
A shelter has been set up at the fairgrounds for residents who were forced to leave their homes.
Two people were injured and are being treated at an area hospital.
Firefighters say they're waiting for the ethanol to burn itself out.
An NTSB team is enroute to investigate the cause of the derailment.
