BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Husson University opened its doors for the public to get a closer look at ways to stay healthy.
Students from four different health professions at the school hosted a health fair. The goal of the fair was to help people understand some of the medical options they have and new ways to stay fit. Officials at the school say education is the key to good health.
"Sometimes it can be hard reaching out and getting information about different preventative health measures or maintenance for chronic conditions," Mary Beatham, Husson University, said. "There are a lot of people out there who are highly educated and available to provide information."
Officials at the school plan on having the health fair again next year.
