Zach Braff Discusses The New Scrubs

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) -- "Scrubs" is kind of the anti-"ER." "ER" is so serious and "Scrubs" is so not. But, Zach Braff says the creator of "Scrubs" is taking a page from "ER" as a way to add more storylines with new personalities.

He's bringing in a new group of interns. We'll meet them when "Scrubs" starts up again next week. That's also when we'll meet Courteney Cox's character, the new chief of medicine.
