CANAL FULTON, Ohio (NBC) -- So you thought a dog was man's best friend? You obviously haven't met Dillie.

The white-tailed deer has been living with a family in Canal Fulton, Ohio for the past five years.

She was originally rescued as a fawn, then taken in when it became clear she had problems seeing, and could never return to the wild.
