PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Oscar nominations have a way of turning everybody into a movie critic.

Movie fans around Portland felt that "Lincoln's" 12 nominations made it the frontrunner for Best Picture, although many of them said they would prefer to see a different movie win.

The Oscar winners will be announced on Feb. 24.
