ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- A New Hampshire man has been indicted on charges stemming from a Rochester car crash that police say occurred when he was passing two vehicles. The driver's 3-year-old son was critically injured in the crash.

Twenty-two-year-old Michael Bandach, of Rochester, was arrested in September and charged with a variety of offenses.

A grand jury recently indicted Bandach on charges of reckless conduct and assault.

Police say Bandach's vehicle hit one of the cars it was passing. His car then hit a utility pole and went off the road.

Foster's Daily Democrat says the most serious charge is punishable by 10 to 30 years in state prison.

There's no word on the current condition of the son.
