PALMYRA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Some RSU 19 concerned voters are fearful their voices weren't heard on Election Day.
The controversy surrounds absentee ballots and the RSU 19 school budget.
The RSU 19 budget was approved by the school board October 19th. The problem with this story? Some of the areas absentee ballots were sent out before that date, without the budget included.
Voters from Corinna, Dixmont, Etna, Hartland, Newport, Palmyra, Plymouth and St. Albans, passed the budget on Tuesday by just 19 votes.
NEWS CENTER is working to #VerifyVotes and will update the story when more details become available.
