Maine Clinton supporters continue to work through Trump's visit

Maine Democrats make calls for Clinton

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — While Donald Trump was taking the stage for rallies in both Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Bangor, Hillary Clinton supporters in Portland continued to call and encourage people to vote.

At the Hillary for Maine office at 622 Congress St. in Portland, a few dozen people sat and called hundreds of registered Democrats and Independents.

Their message: support Hillary Clinton, elect Maine Democrats to office and make sure you vote.

As for the recent sexual assault allegations against Trump, teacher and Hillary for Maine volunteer Chris Mitchell said, "the whole slew of negative comments … just not helping anyone. Not helping girls and boys see each other on an equal playing field. We are all equal and competent. I'm concerned."
