(NEWS CENTER) -- As budget negotiations continue in the legislature, Democrats are ramping up pressure on Republicans to make a deal.
This all comes amid growing concern lawmakers won't be able to reach agreement in time to finally pass a budget to avoid a government shutdown in July.
Leaders in Augusta have said they need a vote by the full legislature by June 15 or 16 to meet all the other fiscal deadlines.
