(NEWS CENTER) -- Sen. Emily Cain (D-Orono) has been in the Maine legislature for a decade. Now she's hoping to go to Washington to represent Maine's second district in Congress. Cain talks about her campaign In The Arena with Pat Callaghan.
Cain served four terms in the Maine House and currently represents the Orono area in the Maine Senate. She has been criticized by her primary opponent Sen. Troy Jackson (D-Allagash) for budget votes, but Cain says compromise is a must if anything is going to be accomplished. Sen. Cain talks about how she would put that philosophy to work in Congress, and about the issues the separate her from Jackson.
