DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colorado (KUSA) -- Newly released surveillance video shows the close call when a
train derailed in Douglas County, Colorado Thursday afternoon.
The video shows an axle from one of the train's cars hurtling toward a gas station, nearly hitting drivers and a row of pumps.
No one was hurt when the 35 car train went off the rails in Sedalia.
Seventeen cars went off the tracks. Most of the cars were empty and all cars that derailed remained upright.
