PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- If you've ever driven down Congress Street in Portland you know things can get a little congested.
Monday night the Portland City Council voted unanimously in favor of a plan that will improve traffic flow in this area.
By removing and moving a few bus stops, as well as removing two traffic lights, the hope is to make it a little easier to drive on the street that runs down the center of the city.
Jackie Ward took us for a spin on Congress Street Tuesday morning to show viewers the area that is the city's first priority as part of this plan.
