Sheen was born on August 3, 1940.

He played the fictional Pres. Jed Barlett on "The West Wing" for seven seasons. 

Sheen previously occupied the Oval Office as JFK in the 1983 miniseries "Kennedy."  He also once played the President's brother, Bobby Kennedy, in a 1974 T-V movie about the Cuban Missile Crisis called "The Missiles of October."
