ROCKLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- On the Food Network, there are shows about recipes that only use five ingredients, or shows about how to cook authentic Mexican food at home, but what about a show about New England?
Michele Ragussis is a contestant on the show "Next Food Network Star" and wants to bring the vibrant food scene of New England to the rest of America. While the competition finishes airing, she's working at The Pearl in Rockland for the summer.
But cooking in a restaurant and cooking for TV are completely different things. In an interview she did with Jackie Ward she explains her love of New England and the challenges she faced on the show.
