Joe Ricchio and Alex Steed of Food Coma TV visit the studio.

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- After eating way too much food, have you ever had the feeling of a food coma?

Joe Ricchio knows that feeling well, and he likes to write about how he gets to that state for various food blogs, including Food Coma.  But now, thanks to his friend and producer, Alex Steed, his fans can actually see how he does this to himself in a series of web episodes.

Ricchio and Steed, along with their photographer and director, Kurt Graser, traveled to Bangor a few weeks ago to film their first episode that's expected to be online on Monday, October 10.

They stopped at Bangor Wine and Cheese, Nocturnem Draft Haus, The Fiddlehead Restaurant, Giacomo's, and Dysart's Truck Stop.

Ricchio, a Yarmouth native, realized in his food reporting career he had written more about France than his own home state, so the Food Coma TV crew will continue their journey making stops in Fort Kent, the Fryeburg Fair, Lewiston, and Sanford.
